Theres a typhoon coming tonight, apparently. Cool. It doesnt seem to be a big deal tho - my host mom was just like "be sure to take an umbrella". hehe. it WAS really windy this morning, i wonder if thats a presage. oh well, it will be interesting to see one.

Heh, I came up with mine around 1985, it was for characters I played in Dungeons and Dragons, I`ve used the name online ever since I`ve been on the net.

Every now and then I google the name Blashy and see what comes up, out of 20 pages 99% is all myself, hehe.

Yours was the 1st time it popped up and on the main page no less.

Ahh, so that's how you found my site :) Yeah, you definitely have seniority with the term then, hehe. The aforementioned game of Balderdash took place sometime in the mid '90s. You've got to admit, though, it's a pretty fitting term for the sound :)

Oh, it rhimes, for the intent.

Although I don't see myself driving and saying "blashy!" when a bug hits my winshield, it would be self demeaning, LOL!
