Oh don't act so smart. You don't even know what an oubliette is.

Zerpentine FarmsI went up to Rochester for the weekend to visit Courtney, and had a really good time. It turned out that there was a sort of Parents' Weekend-type thing going on that weekend, at which they always have a different stand-up comedian perform. In past years, they've had Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles. I got excited. When we looked it up, however, it turned out this year's comedian was Dennis Miller, who, aside from the gift of adding the suffix "-eeoheeoh" to the word "a**hole," has had much less impact on my life. So instead we watched Kill Bill 2 and I fell asleep. Ahh, a night well spent.

On Sunday, Courtney, her roommate Emily, her friends Amy and Dan, and the other Dan (me) headed to a nearby town to willingly submit ourselves to 20-acres of corn and lostness strongly reminiscent of one of the greatest movies ever to feature bulging lycra. But it wasn't a dancing, teased-hair pop star that we met repeatedly during our journey, but rather Corn Cops. And there was no chubby baby driving us onward towards our goal — rather, glowsticks and shiny patriotic stickers were our reward. I felt satisfied.

Sadly, due to its steadily increasing weight, I opted to leave behind my camera during our hours-long trek, so I have no photos from the maze itself. Eventually I really should get a small point-and-shoot to allow me to document events such as this. In the meantime, I'll just have to build a world for you with my timeless prose. Or steal pictures from the company's website.

I think you mean Dennis Leary, and not Dennis Miller hahaha. Oh well Dennis Miller sucks too. :)

Haha, oh yeah. So Dennis Miller is the guy from that TV show? Pah, I'm even more glad we rented a movie. :)
