Now I need to see an actual Chaplin film

Today I woke up bright and early to head to Old San Juan to help Michelle shoot a film. She'd been wanting to do a Chaplin-like film for a long time. Weather, camera batteries, and limited time schedules did their best to ruin the day, but we managed to improvise and get some good shots. We'll be going back out on Sunday to do the last shot or two.

During the shoot everyone was pretty busy, but afterward Michelle's parents invited us to dinner (crap I forgot to thank them) and I got to talk to Andrea, Michelle's friend who was doing the filming today. She is also a film major, so it was really cool to talk to her about photography and filmmaking. I knew something was out of the ordinary when she actually seemed impressed that my 24-70mm lens's maximum aperture is f/2.8. Photography geeks rule! And the kanji on her purse said "literature spring and autumn."
