Life & Death
last night i dreamt
2007-10-04: The Flying 64th
The club's Cessna 150
Mike fills out some paperwork
A very simple plane, with the same instruments that have worked well for 100 years
The bigger brother, the 172
This one has more instruments — two VORs, etc — but still no fancy GPS or anything
One of several Citabrias (aerobatic taildraggers) kept at the field
It's a really pretty place to go flying
I was expecting a sexual reference but he was more pure-hearted than that
Lots of old taildraggers, ultralights, etc are hangared here. I can tell the members' tastes are along the same lines as mine
A nice amphibious ultralight
They make no bones about it
AOL CDs make good bird deterrents
A light sport plane owned by one of the club members (2c)
This one looks fun/scary to fly
Not much in the way of instruments
Quite an odd coincidence that my landlord is such a significant member of the flying club I chose to join
