Camera opened with Super 8 cartridge	Cartridge bay	Shooting trigger, lock/run switch, and tripod mount on bottom	Battery compartment in bottom of pistol grip handle
Label	10.5 - 30mm f/1.1 zoom lens	External light socket, filter selector button, and zoom buttons on the top. Zoom can also be actuated manually with the silver lever on the side of the lens	Frame Rate selector dial and film remaining indicator. Not sure what the silver button on the back of the camera (right side of picture) does
Other side. Another jack near the handle of mysterious functionality	Pistol grip handle extended. Not sure what the small jack to the right of the film compartment is for, nor the silver button at the top left corner of the front of the camera, next to the lens	Hanimex XL-300 Super-8 silent film camera

2006-03-26: Handheld 4x5 Project

It doesn't look much bigger than the 250, but it feels huge in your hand	There's a lot of metal in this camera, and it's surprisingly heavy	Aside from its size and weight, this is another reason the 110A is not ideal for this project. Separate rangefinder and viewfinder	Rear view. I'm not sure what that red switch does.
Top view, lens folded out	Alas, this camera will only be donating its lens and shutter	With its nice mechanical shutter and classic-looking integrated lens cap	The elegantly retro-looking Polaroid 110A arrives
Rangefidner is free!	Rangefinder removal	Time to remove the rangefinder from the 250	Still much smaller than a view camera
Size comparison, with 35mm film included for scale	View through rangefinder (note dual images of picture frame, for focusing)	It's too bad it's in such nice shape, because the only thing I need is the nice Zeiss rangefinder (1c)	The film for this camera is long since discontinued, but I have other uses in mind (1c)

Current state of my kit	OK, enough pictures of the lens, now to go out and see what it can do		Still quite attention-getting though, unfortunately
The new 70-200mm f/4L is actually significantly lighter than the 24-70 f/2.8L behemoth, which was the reason I chose it over the 70-200 f/2.8L IS (well also the fact that it costs $1100 less)
